As we prepare for the final show and closing event of Basin Gallery on January 10th from 6-9 PM, I reflect on the remarkable journey this space has provided.
All Are Welcoem!
Over the years, it has hosted a diverse array of talent, from renowned artists like Cey Adams, Danny Cortes, Valeri Larko, Craig Anthony Miller (CAM) and Tom Fruin, to emerging voices such as Steven Trimble, Kusci Koya, and the Beetles Dilemma, including my own contributions as Mr. Moda.
Basin Gallery has been a warm and welcoming haven that united various communities within the city, fostering creativity and collaboration. Under the leadership of the visionary Liz Galvin and Jaimie Walker, their unconventional approach has garnered significant recognition in a remarkably short span of time. Their impact on the artistic community will be felt for decades to come, inspiring the next generation of gallerists, artists, and curators to maintain the vibrant balance of New York City’s art scene.
As they say, the rest, is Herstory.

Many designs have come about; collaborative efforts at Basin Gallery have yielded a stunning array of designs that seamlessly blend contemporary aesthetics with traditional craftsmanship. #TheArtOfOutside
