Attending New York Fashion Week at the Confessional Showroom NY was an experience I'll always treasure, made even more special by the fact that I was invited as Antoné’s plus one. Accompanied by my apprentice DAZE and our photographer Ralphy Clouds, the evening was filled with an exhilarating mix of fashion, creativity, and connection.
I've known Johnny for some time now, and our relationship goes beyond mere acquaintance—there's a genuine bond and mutual respect rooted in our shared values. Johnny’s dedication to his vision and the spirit he brings to his work have always resonated with me, and being in attendance of his showcase was an honor.

The theme of the night was 'LOVE IS FASHION,' a subject that has been profoundly significant in my own life recently. As I navigated through various facets of love—be it with my sun, my mother, my siblings, or my personal relationships—I've been deeply engaged in understanding and improving my connection to this powerful emotion. It’s a journey of growth and introspection, one that I am committed to exploring and expressing through my work.
The Confessional Showroom NYC is a haven of acceptance and creativity. The space felt like a judgment-free zone where artists and creators came together to celebrate their craft and the essence of love. The performances were nothing short of spectacular, each one reflecting the theme in unique and moving ways.
In alignment with the theme, I dressed in pieces from my recent fashion collection, inspired by my artwork over the past year. These garments were a reflection of my own journey through love and self-discovery, and wearing them felt like a personal statement of where I am in my creative and emotional journey.

As I continue to practice forgiveness and work on improving my understanding of love, I am also focused on enhancing my storytelling abilities. My aim is to convey the essence of 'Moda' in a way that resonates deeply and authentically with others. This exploration of love and personal growth will culminate in a show at Nitti’s Italian Restaurant at the end of the month. The upcoming event will be a testament to the evolution of my work and the ongoing dialogue about love that I am so very passionate about.
Reflecting on that night during #NYFW, I am filled with gratitude for the connections I’ve made and the inspiration I’ve drawn from the experience. (Whitty and Jean-Baptiste you were the highlight of my night.) It was a celebration of creativity and a reminder of the powerful role love plays in all aspects of our lives.
