Yesterday, I met up with curator, artist and co-owner of Basin Gallery, Jaimie Walker, for a dope afternoon with Craig Anthony Miller bka CAM and Cey Adams, two heavy-hitter artists hailing from the Heart of New York who have paved the way for artists like myself in the scene.

We linked up on an idea I pitched during Jaimie's brainstorm sesh, and we all vibed on bringing it to life. Had my laptop ready, and we smashed out a design that spoke to all of us and the journey ahead. Although reserved both Cey and CAM have much energy to spare and didn’t shy away from voicing opinions of concerns. I later learned both Cey and I from the same part of Jamaica, Queens —Astonishing how far he’s come, for me that was personal. CAM similar to myself spouting ideas had coined the phrase “CEYCAMODA'“ and if you know me, i love a good name flip!

After a successful session, we dashed off to Liz Galvin's (Basin’s Second Halve) Opening at Super Fine in Dumbo, a spot known for its organic eats, art vibes, and hospitality. Seeing Liz shine bright and get the props she DESERVES was pure magic. Love my art fam , the community and the vibe we bring.

Save the Date June 28th for a cosmic UN-defined moment with Cey, Cam, and myself—it's gonna be one for the books, for sure…!
